Images
WhyBuy.com allows owners to provide up to twelve (12) images to showcase their item or property. You are able to add images during the image step of the Create a Listing process.
Users are presented with an interface where you will see 12 gray boxes. These represent spaces for each of the 12 allotted images.
The first spot is reserved for the main photo. The main photo is utilized for search results and the main image on the listing page. Thus, it is the first image future renters will see on WhyBuy.com.
Add an Image:
To add an image, simply click ADD NEW PHOTO at the top of the image page. You will be directed to a new page where you can click BROWSE to locate an image on your machine. These images can only have the following extensions: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, or .png. Any other formats are not allowed at this time and the files themselves must be under 10 MB in total size.
Once you have selected an image, you can give it a caption. The caption is displayed below the image on the listing page and as the text that shows up when you hover over the image (alt tag).
You can also select this as the main image on this screen by checking the MAIN IMAGE box.
When you are finished, click SAVE CHANGES. Clicking CANCEL will return you to the main images screen without saving any information.
Reordering images:
You can reorder your images by simply clicking and holding down the left mouse button over the drag icon on each image. Move the image to the location where you would like it to be. Remember, the first image spot is the main photo and then each other space is the order in which they will be found on the listing page.
