Rent an Item
Search for an Item:
The first step is to search for an item or property you are interested in renting. We make it easy! Right from the homepage, you can enter an item name and just click SEARCH. We will return all listings that match or have that name in the listing detail. If you want to be sure to only find listings in a given location, simply add a city, country, or ZIP code to your search from the homepage.
Once you have results, you can further filter your search directly from the results page. Use the options in the left column to change or set your location information as well as browse through different categories and specific information within each category.
You can sort listings at the top by price, date listed, or the listing's rating. Just use the drop down box located at the top of the search results.
You can further your search within your results or start a new search from the search box also listed at the top of the page.
Rent an Item:
If you are interested in renting an item, you will need to contact the owner of the listing by clicking the e-mail owner button on the listing page. In order to contact any owner, WhyBuy.com asks you to accept the terms and conditions of the site.
You will be able to select the desired dates for your rental term and provide a message to the owner. As soon as you are finished, you can click SUBMIT to preview your message. While viewing the preview, you can go back to edit the message or send the message officially. By clicking SEND we will e-mail the owner on your behalf and the owner will have your contact information (e-mail address and phone) and will be able to contact you directly about renting the item or property. WhyBuy.com does not take part in the transaction itself.
As a member, you can see all of your rental requests in the My Account area of WhyBuy.com.
